Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance

The Tai Ji Quan program (formerly Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance) offered by Direction Home Akron Canton is an education and exercise program that aims to strengthen muscles and prevent falls. Over the course of 24 weeks, participants will learn 8 forms based on Yang-style Tai Ji Quan. The exercises are easy to complete and can be done from a sitting or standing position.

LIVE VIRTUAL CLASSES: We want you to stay healthy, strong and active, so we will be using Zoom, to bring Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Batter Balance into your home.  It is recommended to attend as many classes as possible; we will learn one form each session until all 8 forms are learned.  Class requirements: a computer with speakers and a webcam (to ensure participants are safely learning the forms).  To easily ask questions during classes, using the microphone on your computer is also recommended; there is a chat feature to type questions if needed.
