Impressions matter.  They affect the way clients, patients, and colleagues perceive us, as well as our ability to build strong, supportive relationships.  Identify factors  that may be undermining your communication/impression success. Recognize your professional strengths and  contributions, and learn how to skillfully communicate workplace intentions and goals.

Objectives:

  • Assess and inventory skills and strengths as a healthcare professional/social service provider
  • Evaluate different approaches, behaviors, and language, and how they impact client/patient care and communication
  • Define image. Learn how our image impacts our ability to build client/patient relationships. Explore how it affects client/patient needs and the wellbeing of the workplace
