It is imperative that social service providers in a supervisory role and facility administrators are taking steps to create a welcoming, effective, and inclusive environment for supervisees, co-workers, and clients/residents alike. This training will teach customer service skills to give your clients and residents the best experience and outcomes yet. We'll review two 6-step strategies participants can begin using immediately, making the practice and/or facility a place where staff want to work and residents love to live.

Objectives:

  • Participants will learn and understand how to build an effective, inclusive, and exciting "customer experience" when working with their clients and/or residents
  • Participants will learn and understand what touchpoints are and their importance in creating a welcoming environment for a client/resident and co-workers
  • Participants will understand and be able to teach their teams the important difference between the function and purpose of their job
