Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities is more than just a call center or Medicaid services coordinator. We put health and wellbeing first to help our community members age in the places they want to call home for as long as possible. With both Medicaid and Non-Medicaid programming, we are evolving to better meet your needs in Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne Counties. We are excited to offer a new option for eligible individuals: the Age Your Way program.
Welcome to Direction Home Age Your Way: a free program being piloted to keep individuals that are not eligible for Medicaid connected with new service offerings, health and wellness information, and education about benefits for which they may be eligible.
Age Your Way is an important next step in better connecting and better serving older adults who are more likely to thrive when living independently at home.
The Age Your Way pilot will run from November 2025 - January 2026, and pilot members have been contacted to participate.
